【Ingredients】

This product is a combination formulation containing, per 10 milliliters: 120 mg of acetaminophen, 1.125 mg of chlorpheniramine maleate, 18.75 mg of anhydrous caffeine, and 37.5 mg of guaiacol glycerol ether. Excipients include: ethanol, menthol, sucrose, caramel, sodium benzoate, and disodium edetate.

Indications

Used to relieve symptoms such as fever, headache, sore throat, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, cough, and sputum production caused by colds or influenza.

Dosage and Administration

Oral administration. Adults: 10–20 ml each time, three times daily. Dosage for children under 12 years old is shown in the table below:
Age 1-3 years old Weight: 10–15 kg Single dose: 4-5 ml If fever or pain does not subside, you may take another dose every 4 to 6 hours, but no more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
Age 4-6 years old Weight: 16–21 kg Dosage per use: 5–7 milliliters If fever or pain does not subside, you may take another dose every 4 to 6 hours, but no more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
Ages 7-9 Weight: 22–27 kg Single dose: 7–9 milliliters If fever or pain does not subside, you may take another dose every 4 to 6 hours, but no more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
Age 10-12 years old Weight: 28-32 kg Dosage per use: 9-10 milliliters If fever or pain does not subside, you may take another dose every 4 to 6 hours, but no more than 4 doses within 24 hours.

             

Adverse reaction

Sometimes, mild symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, nausea, upper abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, loss of appetite, and rash may occur, but these usually resolve on their own.

Taboo

Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment.

Precautions

1. If symptoms do not improve after 3 to 7 days of medication, please consult a physician or pharmacist.

2. Do not drink alcohol or alcoholic beverages while taking this product.

3. Children under 1 year old should use this product under the guidance of a physician.

4. Combining cold medications containing the same or similar active ingredients should be avoided.

5. Patients with gastrointestinal ulcers, benign prostatic hyperplasia, glaucoma, and elderly individuals should use this product under the guidance of a physician.

6. Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

7. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

8. During medication, do not drive machinery, vehicles, or ships, engage in high-altitude work, perform mechanical operations, or operate precision instruments.

9. If you take an overdose or experience severe adverse reactions, seek medical attention immediately.

10. Do not use if you are allergic to this product; use with caution if you have a history of allergies.

11. Do not use this product if its appearance has changed.

12. Please keep this product out of reach of children.

13. Children must use this product under adult supervision.

15. It is not recommended that parents or guardians administer this product to infants and young children under the age of 2 without first consulting a physician or pharmacist.

Drug interactions

1. When used in combination with other antipyretic and analgesic drugs, the risk of nephrotoxicity may increase.

2. This product should not be used concurrently with chloramphenicol, barbiturates (such as phenobarbital), or similar substances.

3. If used concurrently with other medications, drug interactions may occur. For details, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pharmacological effects

Paracetamol inhibits prostaglandin synthesis and thus exerts antipyretic and analgesic effects. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine that can relieve symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing caused by the common cold. Guaiacol is an expectorant that increases secretion from respiratory tract glands, thins mucus, and makes it easier to cough up. Caffeine is a central nervous system stimulant that enhances the antipyretic and analgesic effects.
