Pharmacological effects

Berberine hydrochloride exhibits antibacterial activity against Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, and Proteus.
Tannic acid protein is formed by the combination of tannic acid and albumin. In the intestine, under the action of pancreatic juice, it gradually transforms into tannic acid alkali, which has astringent properties. Tannic acid can also cause proteins to coagulate, thereby forming a protective film on the intestinal mucosa.
Aluminum silicate has an adsorptive effect and can also remove harmful substances, excess water, and mucus from the gastrointestinal tract, while also providing a protective effect on the mucous membranes.
Ethacridine lactate is a bactericide that exhibits antibacterial activity against many Gram-positive bacteria and effectively inhibits the proliferation of intestinal bacteria.
