To further promote and implement the “Measures for Quality Supervision and Management of Pharmaceutical Distribution and Use,” and to enhance the quality management capabilities of pharmaceutical distribution and use entities, the Provincial Drug Administration held a briefing session on the “Measures for Quality Supervision and Management of Pharmaceutical Distribution and Use” on November 10. Comrade Lu Yuanfu, member of the Party Group of the Administration and Director of Drug Safety, attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that the issuance of the “Measures” marks a further refinement of the regulatory framework for the entire lifecycle of pharmaceutical products, making the management of pharmaceuticals—from distribution to use—more scientific and standardized.
At the meeting, key points of the “Measures” were analyzed, and representatives from some pharmaceutical enterprises and medical institutions delivered statements. More than 70 representatives from relevant agencies—including the Provincial Drug Administration, the Provincial Drug Evaluation Center, and the Guiyang Municipal Market Supervision Administration—as well as pharmaceutical enterprises attended the meeting in person at the offline venue. Over 50,000 people from market supervision administrations of various cities (prefectures), county-level (city, district, special zone) market supervision administrations, wholesale drug companies, retail drug chain enterprises, retail pharmacies, and medical institutions participated online.
